What do you think of the lectures? What's the best way to take notes?
Justine
The exercises of series A represent the questions on the exam extremely well, so be sure to understand these properly!

The lectures are necessary to follow if you want to understand the course material. Of course it is also very useful, since the exam is open book. Definitely take enough notes with the R-code examples, because the exam will ask you to interpret the R-code and calculate from there.

Did Multivariate Statistics have a compulsory textbook? Have you used this a lot?

There are slides that you can buy in the Kursusdienst, but personally I think I would prefer to print the slides myself (he also posts them on Toledo), because there is a lot of color in his slides that I didn't have and it made it difficult to understand some things at times because of this. However, I think it is still difficult for people who are color blind, so I would actually suggest the professor makes it easier for them as well and then you don't need to use color ink (e.g. by using dashed lines, full lines, thicker lines etc. to divide curves instead of different colors).
